Crop Share or CSA Programs in the United States
Want fresh and healthy food? Join your local “farm to table or CSA program” near you. CSA Stands for Community Supported Agriculture and this is something we are very passionate about here at DinnerPlanner.com!
Fresh Foods for Your Dinner Table! Here is how a “CSA” works.
Before the start of the harvest season, you buy a “share” of the farm’s crops. In return for your investment, you get a steady flow of farm-fresh produce, usually weekly or every other week, to be picked up at a location near you. The type of share you purchase determines the frequency of pick-up.
This is a great resource for everyone. We need farmers, and farmers need a way to sell and deliver their fresh foods. This is a great way to support your local agriculture community and keep you and your family healthy and happy.
